Ken Cameron

Born of Scottish parents in Sri Lanka, educated in Scotland and England (specialising in literature).

Came to Australia in 1973, worked for 30 years in the Australian Public Service as a program manager and policy analyst, now living on the NSW south coast while practicing meditation, and pursuing recreational interests including travel, cycling, fishing, photography, video, renovation, bricolage and cooking.

 

Ihian Mackenzie

Born in Queensland, brought up in the wheat belt of WA, spent time in woolsheds and hunting in WA and New Zealand before settling in NSW and beginning education.

Worked for beach miners and initial training in geography then for Woolworths Ltd in logistics. Moved to Canberra and completed PhD in decision-making (geography). 

Many years as public servant in the field investigating irrigation, mining, northern development, indigenous issues, adult education and information technology until taking early retirement and establishing a computer networking business.

Spent the last 6 years documenting natural environment of Hyams Beach at Jervis Bay.  See www.hyamsbeach.org

Skills: Competent, careful 4wd driver; competent still photographer; good research ability, excellent field skills, adequate cook.
